​Teaching



 

I love designing and facilitating workshops for children about architecture and it is my dream to design and present these courses. 

My theoretical-practical workshops are a hybrid orientated to introduce the Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism in an integrated and understandable manner. Classes imply individual and collective participation, as well as an experimental approaches based on the four pillars of knowledge: learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together and learning to be.

These activities involve interaction with subjects such as Plastic models and Visual Education, Environmental Knowledge and Mathematics, and results in an all-encompassing experience- aiming to increasing awareness, and strengthening the child's abilities and self-esteem, while experiencing teamwork benefits.

It is very satisfying to see how the kids learn concepts such as habitat, proportion, structure, design, strategy, and finally to hear some of them saying "Cool, I want to become an architect".

Diseñar e impartir talleres a niños sobre arquitectura me apasiona.

Los talleres teórico-prácticos de participación individual y colectiva que organizo buscan introducir la Ingeniería, la Arquitectura y el Urbanismo en la conciencia de los niños, desde una aproximación experimental y a través de clases estructuradas según los cuatro pilares del conocimiento: aprender a conocer, aprender a hacer, aprender a vivir juntos y aprender a ser.
Este tipo de actividades suponen interacción con asignaturas como Educación Plástica y Visual, Conocimiento del Medio y Matemáticas y se traducen en una experiencia que apunta a la toma de conciencia, al refuerzo de las capacidades del niño y su autoestima, así como a vivenciar los beneficios del trabajo en equipo. 
Es muy satisfactorio ver a los niños acercarse a conceptos como hábitat, proporción, estructura, proyecto, estrategia y escuchar que al final algunos digan “¡qué guay, quiero ser arquitecto!”.
