The project is conceived as a set of volumes, placed and oriented in order to fit in the topography, the landscape, the sun's path and the approach to the building. The lateral volumes are covered with Arabic tiles, each one with day and night functions, articulated by a central piece, which acts as a conductive element, guiding the user to get in the house, and projecting his sight from inside looking outward, while conducting the user in a pleasant axis, opening the user to the landscape. The large window with views of Palma bay acts as a solar collector in winter, while in summer, the top slab overhang protects it from direct sunlight. Thus the house gets passive heating when it is needed, thanks to the suitability on the design and the site orientation.

The facades of the house are designed through dialogue between modern and traditional style, using stone, steel and slate materials in combination with earth-colored stucco that helps to integrate the building into the landscape. The texture balance on the facades follows the openings rhythm, through a dynamic interplay where materials alternate their protagonism between them.​

El proyecto se concibe a partir de un juego de volúmenes, orientados según la topografía, el paisaje, la trayectoria solar y la aproximación al edificio desde la carretera. Se diseñan dos volúmenes laterales cubiertos con teja árabe, cada cual con las funciones de día y de noche, articulados por una pieza central que hace de elemento conductor del usuario, orientándolo en el acceso a la vivienda y proyectándolo, una vez dentro, hacia el exterior.

El gran ventanal con vistas hacia la ciudad de Palma actúa como captador solar en invierno, mientras que en verano el voladizo de la losa superior protege del asoleamiento directo. De este modo, la casa obtiene calefacción pasiva cuando más lo necesita, gracias a la adecuación de su diseño a la orientación del lugar.
Las fachadas de la vivienda se han concebido a través del diálogo entre un lenguaje moderno y tradicional. Se usaron materiales pétreos, hierro y pizarra, combinados con un revoco de color terroso que ayuda a la integración del edificio en el paisaje. El desarrollo de los materiales sobre las fachadas se distribuye según la interacción con los huecos, a través de un juego dinámico donde van cediéndose el protagonismo unos a otros.
